Doghouse to be Posted for the Kentucky Derby

Just to let you know that I am alive and well. I will be posting a Doghouse late Friday or early Saturday for the Derby.

I did do my energy distribution analysis and last three furlong times for all of the horses. For the first time ever, all of the horses met the criteria. Usually, more than half are eliminated, and there are several questionable.

What this means is that the trainers are reading the Doghouse and concluded that the only way to win is to have a closing punch, so they are training the horses this way. It is difficult at present to see what the pace will be and who will lead the crowd around the first turn.

I await the post draw today to see how the horses will stack up, will check final workouts, and the weather. Check back.

Woof! Woof! Welcome back, Mr. X. I have been waiting for your analysis.

You got mention on last week's Trackfacts Live show on Capital OTB network.

Tell me that Friesan Fire is winner!

I'll be checking often. You have helped me have winners for both of the last two derbies and I'm looking for the trifecta. It has been a steep learning curve since moving to Saratoga from Haverhill, Ma 5 years ago. First two years lost consistently. Third year broke even and for the last two have been positive. I owe your thinking and picks for making me a more educated bettor! Thanks!
PS: Bob Duff says hello.
